2 step sparring

 

General assumptions

Attacker is A Defender is B

Attacker starts in a right L stance forearm guarding block

The defender starts in parallel ready stance

Both Attacker and Defender must bow to each other before the start of 2 step sparring

 

The attacker will “Ki hap” when they are ready to commence their attack, and will wait for the defender to “Ki hap” back before commencing the attack, once the defender has countered the attacker will step back to right L stance.

The defender will wait for the attacker to “Ki hap” and will “Ki hap” back when they are ready to commence defending, after countering the defender must step back in to a L stance forearm guarding block.

 

Blocks make contact, with the correct blocking tool

Attacks are aimed at the correct target, and should travel towards the target using correct technique, and tool

All counters must be no further than 4cm of the vital spot, with the correct attacking tool.

 

After both the attacker and the defender has completed a attack set they should be back to exactly where they started (this indicates proper stances)

The attacker must wait for the defender to complete their block before they can commence their next attack

A Right walking stance front punch, walking stance low front snap kick

B Left Walking stance reveres outer forearm block, walking stance outer forearm low reverse block, front snap kick to knee

 

Set 2

A Right walking stance low front snap kick, L stance knife hand side strike

B Left walking stance X-fist pressing block, L stance knife hand block, L stance middle side piercing kick to floating ribs

 

Set 3

A left L stance side punch, L stance middle side piercing kick

B left L stance twin forearm block, bending ready stance A,

side kick to knee, floating ribs

 

Set 4

A Left L stance knife hand side strike, L stance middle turning kick

B Left L stance knife hand middle guarding block, L stance outer forearm inward block L stance jumping back kick

 

Set 5

A Right side piercing kick, walking stance back fist high side strike

B rear foot stance palm downward block, L stance high knife hand guarding block, X stance high back fist strike to temple
